Women In Trucking Names Candor Expedite’s Cindi Smith a Top Woman to Watch in Transportation

Operations Specialist Cindi Smith Demonstrates the Integrity, Leadership Potential and Work Ethic it Takes to Succeed

Women In Trucking is a nonprofit association established in 2017 to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry. Each year it recognizes the top performers in the industry who not only have had significant career accomplishments in the last year but go the extra mile to support other women and help to improve gender diversity – at their own companies and/or industry-wide.

As for the future of women in logistics —- they have made great strides in advancing in the supply chain according to Gartner’s latest survey.  Their research shows that women make up around 41% of the total supply chain workforce today and 26% of the C-suite and executive leadership. Gartner also voiced concerns about the current talent shortage. There is ample room for more women to join the supply chain and logistics industry in numerous roles.
