Air Freight has the ability to move your freight from coast to coast in a matter of hours, as opposed to days. There are three services of air freight just like with ground service. Air Charter is the equivalent to Full Truckload. You rent an entire plane to move your freight. There are no weight limits and the only restrictions are those set by the FAA. Next/Same Day Air is equivalent to LTL. Next Day Air gets your freight onto a flight shared by other shippers. Next Flight Out (NFO) service gets your freight onto a commercial flight with passengers. NFO is the air version of traditional “Expedite” ground services, and has a 350 lb. weight limit.
