Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive Recognizes Top Female Supply Chain Leaders Nationwide

Plano, Texas – (September 20, 2023) — Candor Expedite, a transportation leader known for its ability to exceed expectations with time-sensitive shipments, announced that Serena Camacho, Director of Operations, has been recognized as a top 2023 Women In Supply Chain.

The annual recognition, led by Supply & Demand Chain Executive (S&DCE) and Food Logistics, honors female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship and examples set a foundation for women in all levels of a company’s supply chain network.

“Women have made a strong comeback to the supply chain workforce in 2023, with gains at nearly every level of leadership,” according to Gartner’s latest survey.  According to its research, women make up around 41% of the total supply chain workforce today and 26% of the C-suite and executive leadership – a record number indicating strong growth. In a related executive survey Gartner points to concerns over a talent shortage – and in the supply chain and logistics industry, there continues to be a need for more women on the frontlines.
