Nicole Glenn founded Candor Expedite in 2017 after more than two decades in the transportation brokerage business, with a vision to build the smartest and most efficient freight expedited business that delivers on its client’s promises.

Nicole started in the Logistics and Supply chain in 2000. Over the years, she has had a very diverse background in different modes and roles within the industry. She started her career in operations with truckload services, heavyweight partials, linehaul/consolidations, and expedited shipments. She then moved into the asset-based sector working with company owner-operators as an operations representative with direct manufacturers’ shipments specializing in food service shipping.
Nicole joined a privately held asset-based ground and indirect air expedite company where she would develop her career further from operations & sales to management and then executive. Her experience enabled her company to start the development of its truckload brokerage as well as its local and regional company driver truckload model. At this company, Nicole fell in love with not only sales but people, management, and lifting her team to come together with a common goal of success.
On her own and founded Candor Expedite with an emphasis on ground expedite service, white-glove, and final mile services. Candor Expedite is a dynamic customer service company that focuses on aligning its clients with the proper solutions with service, communication, and transparency.
In October of 2019, Nicole opened Candor’s second office in Texas. She moved to Dallas along with her husband, 3 kids, and boxer pup and immediately got to work building out an office. She recognized that texas is the place to be in expedited logstics. In addition, some of our biggest and most consistent are in Texas. After all, everything is bigger in Texas!
As of 2019, Candor Expedite completed the rigorous and stringent certification process to confirm that the business is owned, managed, and controlled by a woman or women. In a traditionally male industry, Candor’s goal is to shatter the status quo. Becoming WBENC certified is just the beginning!
In 2021 Nicole has been awarded Top Woman to Watch from Women in Trucking, a finalist of the Distinguished Women in Logistics Award, a Top Female Owned Business Owner, and Enterprising Woman of the Year Champion. Nicole is dedicated to the pursuit of lifting and educating other women in business which has led her to create a platform to reach women through Ladies Leadership Coalition.
Candor Expedite is excited to announce Jay Glenn as our Employee of the Year for 2020, 2021! Jay has been at Candor for almost 3 years and has filled many roles, the most recent being Candor’s Quoting Agent and Trainer to our new operational hires. Jay received the honor of EOY due to fellow Candor employees nominating him as employee of the quarter twice last year.
When customers send in quotes, Jay locates the capacity to handle those quotes. No matter what time; day or night, Jay is answering calls and ensuring our clients are completely taken care of. His training of our operations team is extraordinary and has proven to be extremely effective.
