Candor Expedite is excited to announce Jay Glenn as our Employee of the Year for 2020! Jay has been at Candor for almost 3 years and has filled many roles, the most recent being Candor’s Quoting Agent and Trainer to our new operational hires. Jay received the honor of EOY due to fellow Candor employees nominating him as employee of the quarter twice last year.
When customers send in quotes, Jay locates the capacity to handle those quotes. No matter what time; day or night, Jay is answering calls and ensuring our clients are completely taken care of. His training of our operations team is extraordinary and has proven to be extremely effective. Here are some things that the Candor Team had to say about Jay:
Peyton Padjen – 2019 EOY & Carrier Sales Representative: Jay is always ready to work and always has a great positive attitude. Whenever we need help, Jay is always willing to lend a hand and do his best to make sure we solve the problem. He is also willing to try new approaches and find ways to make our process easier and more efficient. Jay is a great teammate and I still wish we working together in the same office but I still enjoy being on the same team and working together even if it may be through slack and zoom calls now.
Stephanie Markese – Client and Carrier Services Manager: Out of everyone this past year Jay has really taken ownership of his role in ops & grown into an Ops Bad Ass! I see him constantly training & reinventing how we do things to make our whole team the best we can be!

Jay earned this award by taking on more responsibility, turning opportunity into positive results, and living, eating, and breathing our core values and commitments to customers and carriers. I am extremely happy to have him on our team and really proud of him and the work that he performs day in and day out.
Tyler Wiard – Director of Business Development: Jay stands for everything Candor. His work ethic, patience, and commitment are the perfect mix to support our company values. His continuous development has earned him the role of lead trainer for our operations support, and his acceptance of our employee of the year award is well deserved!
Nicole Glenn – CEO & President: I am very excited to present EOY to Jay. I have been able to watch the progression of his journey this year with learning, application, and growth. Jay works extremely hard to help our clients with solutions & resources. He helps our staff by always being available to answer questions and teach. Jay has taken on a full training development role alongside his normal duties and has been showing new employees the Candor way. Jay lives by the Candor values each day that he is a part of the team, I would like to celebrate that as it is hard to do every single day when the world is always on fire being an expedite provider.
